 Community Support Services programs for adults consist of case management, rehabilitation services, psychiatric services, community living services, and supports to consumers with long-term mental disabilities. The goal of a community support system is to maximize each consumers potential for independence, improved quality of life, and optimum level of functioning.

Pre-vocation training, independent living skills,
socialization, and recreational activities provided in a member-operated
psychosocial rehabilitation program to persons who have psychiatric
disabilities. Education and support to families of adults with serious
mental illness is provided using the Mutual Education Support and Advocacy
(MESA) curriculum. Coordination and
consultation for church-sponsored Social Clubs, which provide opportunities
for fun and community integration to adults with serious mental illness
and/or mental retardation. |
